Contest Rules Summary

*You must complete the email address verification process and agree to the contest rules for an entry to be valid. You will receive instructions in a confirmation email after submitting your entry form.

Winners will be randomly select from all valid entries four times during 2020. Multiple winners will be selected across several categories during each drawing (see Contest Rules for a complete list of categories). Winners will be notified by phone and email. All winners will be posted on this page. To receive the seed award, winners must provide proof they possess all state required hemp farming permits and/or licenses.

How do I enter the Million Hemp Seed Giveaway contest?

Complete the form at hilohempseed.com/million-hemp-seed-giveaway, then follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email.

 

Are there other ways to enter?

Not currently.

 

When can I enter?

The Million Hemp Seed Giveaway starts Februray 28, 2020 and ends at noon on December 31, 2020.

 

Can I enter multiple times?

No, only one entry per person and one winner per farm will be allowed.

 

How are winners selected?

Winners will be selected in random drawings held on:

  • March 31, 2020 – Entry closed for this drawing.
  • June 30, 2020
  • September 30, 2020
  • December 31, 2020

 

How many seeds will be given away?

At least 10 winners will be selected in each drawing, and each winner will receive at least 15,000 Autopilot hemp seeds (enough for approximately 1 acre). All total, 1 million Autopilot hemp seeds will be given away to a minimum of 40 winners.

 

How will winners be notified?

Winners will be notified by email and phone. A full list of winners also will be posted at hilohempseed.com/million-hemp-seed-giveaway.

 

Who can enter?

All U.S. farmers and operators with the required licenses who are interested in farming hemp.

 

Who can win?

Only farmers or operators in states that allow hemp farming. Winners will need to prove they have all the permits and licenses required by their state for hemp farming at the time of the award. Winners can only win once, must be at least 21 years old, and must have a valid tax ID or Social Security number.

 

How will winners get the hemp seeds?

After winners are notified, hemp seeds will be shipped to their business addresses via the United States Postal Service or equivalent.
