What You’ll Learn
No matter the crop, even the most seasoned farmers face numerous unknowns — variable weather conditions, pests, diseases, harvest hiccups, and ever-changing crop values. Hemp farming is no different. But you can make the most out of your season, and protect your investment, by knowing how to:
- Build a realistic budget that covers costs, profits, and everything in between
- Choose the right genetics for your farm, based on your region and your budget
- Avoid common mistakes and oversights, and maximize your optimal growing season
- Make a comprehensive farm plan by working backward from post-harvest
